App updates
Update without losing track of the account or source
An update should improve compatibility, not create a new identity or payment risk.
When an installed copy says that an update is required, first confirm whether the message appears inside the known app and leads to the same verified source. Do not install an update sent separately through chat simply because the old version stops loading.
Before replacing the app, make sure the registered number and password are available. A stored session can hide the fact that the password has been forgotten. If Android reports a signature conflict, the new file may not come from the same publisher as the installed copy. Stop and verify the source rather than forcing the installation.
Preserve account access firstAn app file does not contain the wallet balance itself; the account does. Keep the login details and recovery number secure before uninstalling or resetting anything.
